From the very beginning of its operations, the company has taken interest in the problems that arise in the different communities, co-operating with donations through different institutions, in the area of its industrial units. Some of the most significant contributions in the last years have been: medical equipment, update courses for different professions, a fully equipped pasta enterprise and a fully equipped textiles factory. Monthly donation of petrol for the local police station, school equipment and the repair of various public schools, donations towards cultural events, etc.
Visits to the Puerto Madryn industrial unit
For 30 years now, Aluar has been open to visitors who would like to visit the plant and see the production process. In summer visits are organised by the Puerto Madryn Tourism Direction, so please request your visit personally at Av. Roca 223. You will be very welcome.
Scholars
Every year the Puerto Madryn reduction plant incorporates 120 pupils from the local technical and high schools that are in their last two years at school. The object is that these young people have their first working experience in the industry and spending a short time in different areas of the company. |
