Aluminium rods are fabricated in a Properzi continuous casting and milling machine. The diameters produced at Aluar go from 9 to 12 mm (0.35" a 0.47")
Both pure aluminium rod and alloy rod are produced.
This product is highly demanded by the electrical conductors industry, because of its
good electrical conductivity and light weight when compared with copper. This product is also demanded by the steel industry that uses it in the de-oxidation process.
